Charles L. Cash, 73, of Dawsonville, died Thursday, Oct. 22, 2009.

  

Born Sept. 10, 1936 in Fulton County to the late Lee and Ellie Cash, Charles had lived in Dawson County since 1988 having moved from Lanette, Ala. Mr.

  

Cash was a retired automobile mechanic having worked for several Ford dealerships and was a member of Harvest Baptist Church.

  

His wife, Gail Cash; son, Rodney Cash; and brothers, Grady Cash and Allen Cash, preceded him in death.

  

Survivors include his daughters and sons-in-law, Cindy and LeVon DeLee, Debra and Wayne Houseman, all of Cardwell, Mo., Sheila Jenkins, Anita and Ronald Castleberry, all of Dawsonville; brothers, Dudley Cash of Chamblee, Doris Cash of Canton, Alfred Cash of Dawsonville; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; various other relatives also survive.

  

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24 at Harvest Baptist Church with the Rev. Mark Biddy officiating.

  

Interment followed in the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery.

  

Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
