Carrie Kelley Smith, 51, of Dawsonville, died Dec. 15, 2012.

Born July 18, 1961, in Hall County to the late Winford R. and Betty F. Kelley, she lived most of her life in Dawson County.

Carrie was an administrative assistant.

She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.

Her grandparents, Ratcliff Henry and Carrie Marthenia Kelley, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Marcus and Ashley Smith of Dawsonville; sister and brother-in-law, Deborah and Jesus Simental of Flowery Branch; brother and sister-in-law, Cliff and Teresa Kelley of Alto; nephews and their spouses, Victor and Monique Simental, Johnathan and Sharra Kelley; great-niece, Dallas Kelley; fiancé, Ronnie J. Hester of Canton; sister by choice and her spouse, Donna and Kenneth Jammes of Dawsonville; best friend, Laurice James of Florida; various other relatives also survive.

Memorial services were held at 2 p.m. Dec. 18 in the Bearden Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Kenneth Pilcher officiating. Interment followed in the Trinity Baptist Church Cemetery.

Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
