Carolyn Bennett Hammond, 70, of Dawsonville, died Aug. 28, 2014.

Mrs. Hammond was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Teresa Summers, granddaughter Lacherisa Whisnant and Uncle Buck Hulsey.

Survivors include her children, Tony (Cari) Bennett of Dahlonega and Kelly Bennett of Birmingham; Aunt Doris (Uncle Palmour) Loggins of Dawsonville and Aunt Evelyn Hulsey of Fort Payne, AL; 7 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; numerous other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. September 1st at Crossroads Baptist Church with Rev. Michael Spurr officiating.

Interment followed at Crossroads Baptist Church Cemetery.

Ingram Funeral Home & Crematory in Cumming was in charge of arrangements.
