Carole D. Hollaway, 73, of Dawsonville, died March 13, 2015.

Born Sept. 22, 1941, to the late Edgar and Rheba Tiner, Mrs. Hollaway had been a resident of Dawsonville for the past 27 years.

She owned and operated North Georgia Title, Inc. for more than 15 years and was a past president of the Dawson County Rotary Club and the Dawson County Chamber of Commerce.

A lifelong pianist and member of Wesleyan Chapel United Methodist Church, she and her husband headed the music program at the church for a number of years.

Her sisters, Ann Roper; brothers-in-law, Bill Roper, Clyde Young; nephew, William P. Bryant, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband of 36 years, Mick Hollaway of Dawsonville; children and their spouses, Bryan Duncan of Charlotte, N.C., Kelley and Trent Crane of Dawsonville; stepchildren and their spouses, Mike Hollaway of Lithonia, Todd and Susy Hollaway of Dawsonville, Becky Hollaway of Atlanta; sisters, June Young of Huntsville, Ala., Glenda and Billy Bryant of Dacula, Sheri and Jim Hamilton of Dawsonville; 13 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. March 16 in the Bearden Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Calvin Ward officiating. Interment followed in the Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
