Carol Sue Massey, 65, of Jasper, died Oct. 26, 2011.

Born June 10, 1946, in Gilmer County, she was the daughter of the late L.B. Chester and Susie Arrendale Chester.

Mrs. Massey had worked as the manager of Shoney's Restaurant and was a member of the Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church in Dawson County.

Survivors include her husband, Kenny Massey of Jasper; daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Dennis Noland of Talking Rock; son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Andrea Enyart Massey of Acworth; her mother, Susie Chester of Jasper; granddaughter, Jordan Noland of Talking Rock; sisters and brother-in-law, Belinda and Steve Lowe of Jasper, Renea Chester of Cumming; sister-in-law, Mary Chester of Dawsonville; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Oct. 29 at the Roper Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Moss Fountain and Ricky Garrett officiating. Interment followed in Sunrise Memorial Gardens.

Flowers were accepted, however, donations were requested made to Georgia Mountains Hospice, 70 Caring Way, Jasper, GA 30143.

Roper Funeral Home and Crematory of Jasper was in charge of the arrangements.
