Bryson Wilson, 81, of Dawsonville, died Oct. 1, 2010.

  

Born Oct. 23, 1928 in Hall County to the late Gordon and Beulah Wilson, he lived most of his life in Dawson County.

  

For many years he worked in both residential and commercial construction, after which he owned and operated Wilson's Convenience Store.

  

Mr. Wilson was a member of Liberty Baptist Church, Chestatee Lodge #102 F&AM, was a U.S. Army veteran.

  

His wife, Elizabeth Wilson; sisters, Estelle Abercrombie, Erabelle Rainey, Lavelle Wofford; brothers, Ed Wilson, Jody Wilson, Henry Wilson, Odell Wilson and Duell Wilson, preceded him in death.

  

Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Clyde and Ann Wilson of Dawsonville; brother-in-law, W.A. Wofford of Dawsonville; grandchildren, Pat and Missi Wilson, Garrett Wilson, Gavin Wilson, Hayden Wilson; great-grandchildren, Kali Milford, Darby Wilson, Logan Wilson; various other relatives also survive.

  

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Oct. 3 at Liberty Baptist Church with the Revs. Mitchell Rickett and Cecil Reeves officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery.

  

Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
