Bryan A. Chastain, 59, of Dawsonville, died March 4, 2018.
Born Feb. 20, 1959, Bryan was a lifelong resident of Dawson County. He worked as a truck driver for most of his life, driving for multiple companies and most recently for Koch Foods. A loving father and grandfather, he enjoyed spending time outdoors. He was a member of Dawsonville Church of God of Prophecy.
Survivors include his son, Travis Chastain of Dawsonville; daughter and son-in-law, Brittany and Brody Hughes of Dawsonville; mother, Clara Rowell of Dawsonville; grandchildren, Mason Chastain, Landon Hughes, Sutton Hughes; sisters and brothers-in-law, Deborah and Jim Rovinelli of Jefferson, Sharon Topping of St. Petersburg, Fla., Donna and Tom Waters of Dawsonville; nephews, Garrett Topping, Cole Waters; niece, Savana Waters; various other relatives also survive.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. March 6 at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Brody Hughes and Rev. James Kanaday officiating. Interment followed in Dawsonville Memorial Gardens.
The family received friends at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. March 5.
