Brenda Gail "B.G." Davis, 63, of Dawsonville, died March 24, 2014.

Born Oct. 7, 1950, to the late Clinton and Lucille Dingee, she had been a resident of Dawsonville for the past 25 years.

A hairstylist for many years, she was the original owner of 53 Hairport and most recently employed at Cooter's Cuts.

Her brother, Sidney Dingee; and a sister, Arlene Carrol, also preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband of 26 years, Larry Davis of Dawsonville; daughters and son-in-law, Jackie Gibson, Cindy Cox, Wendy Robertson, Kelly and Josh Mulkey; sons and daughters-in-law, Jeremy and Tracy Davis, Kelsey and Jamie Davis; sister, Vivian Garrett; brother and sister-in-law, Demsey and Carrie Dingee; special brother-in-law, Raleigh Carrol; grandchildren, Heather, Cody, Jeffrey, Melody, Justin, Dylan, Brannon, Angel, Dustin and wife Jamie, David, Abigal, Larry, Zack, Colin; great-grandson, Brayden; nephews, Bobby, Marc, Eric, Derek; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. March 28 in the Bearden Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Josh Mulkey and Chris White officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations were requested made to Hospice of Northeast Georgia, 2150 Limestone Parkway, Suite 222, Gainesville, GA 30501.

Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
