Bobbie T. Owen, 74, of Dawsonville, died May 16, 2016.

Born May 24, 1941 in Forsyth County, to the late Edgar and Callie Turner, she had lived in Dawson County since 1956.

A homemaker at her death, she was formerly employed at Sweet-Orr.

Bobbie was a member of Liberty Baptist Church.

Her brothers, E.C. "Bud" Turner and Wayne Turner, also preceded her in death.

Survivors include her children, Tim Samples, Denise and Jeff Evans, all of Dawsonville, Donna and John Tolleson of Huntsville, Ala.; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sisters and brother-in-law, Virginia Lamb, Dean and Jimmy Gravitt, both of Cumming, Valaree Walls of Dawsonville; sister-in-law, Bernice Turner of Clayton; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. May 18 in the Bearden Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Ruel Martin and Kyle Lamb officiating. Interment will follow in Sawnee View Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. May 18 at the funeral home.
