Betty Jo Arrendale, 86, of Dawsonville passed away Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2020 at Seasons Hospice following a period of declining health. Born Nov. 14, 1933, Betty Jo was a lifelong resident of Dawson County. A graduate of Dawson County High School, she worked as a secretary at Sweet Orr for many years and was also a skilled seamstress who enjoyed making baby blankets for her family and friends. A dedicated member of Juno Baptist Church, Betty Jo was a loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother who was extremely dedicated to her grandchildren.
