Barbara "Bobby" "Nanny" Durham, 84, of Dawsonville, died March 3, 2017.

Born Sept. 10, 1932 in Sharpsburg, to the late Ernest and Dorothy Brown, she had been living in Dawson County for the past 15 years, having moved from Shiloh.

Mrs. Durham retired from the Harris County School System, where she worked as a school bus driver for more than 30 years.

A loving and devoted mother and grandmother, she attended Free Chapel in Gainesville.

Her husband, Joe S. Durham; children, Rhonda Jo. Lipp, Ernest Roy "Bud" Durham; and brother, Dr. E.E. Brown, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her children, Donna "Kay" and Bob Barry of Waverly Hall, Mark and Faith Durham of Dawsonville; grandchildren, Jenny Eastman, Roy Durham, Neil Rozell, Joey Durham, Benji Durham, Cory Rozell, Blake Durham, Grant Durham, Leanne Harden, Haley Galvin, Dessie Durham, Sarah Durham; numerous great-grandchildren; various other relatives also survive.

Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. March 5 at the Durham Family Cemetery with the Pastor Ricky Lipp officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations were requested made to the Alzheimer's Association, Georgia Chapter, 922 East Morris St., Dalton, GA 30721.

Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
