Annie Mae Elrod, 86, of Dawsonville died Sept. 7, 2014.

Born April 5, 1928 in Lumpkin County to the late Ben and Fannie Robinson, she lived most of her life in Dawson County.
Mrs. Elrod was a homemaker and a member of Pleasant Hill Full Gospel Church.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Joe Dan Elrod; daughter, Carol Elrod Almond; son, Jerry Lamar Elrod; sisters, Velma Rice, Eula Grant, Iris Lowe, Frances Sumner, Hazel Eady, Maggie Abbott; and brothers, Price Robinson and Tommy Robinson.

Survivors include her daughter and son in law, Tammy Jo and Michael Smith of Dawsonville; 10 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; two great, great grandchildren; numerous other relatives also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Sept. 10, 2014 at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Jimmy Chester, Rev. C. B. Martin, Mr. Billy Rice and Rev. Tony Holtzclaw will officiate. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Hill Full Gospel Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Pleasant Hill Full Gospel Church.
