Anna Ruth Baker Godbee, 84, of Roswell, died March 24, 2019. She was born Aug. 30, 1934 to the late Roy L. Baker and Ruth James Baker in Hendersonville, N.C. Ruth married Thomas J. Godbee on Aug. 25, 1956. He preceded her in death in April of 2007. Ruth attended Georgia Southern College, majoring in English where she met her husband. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was an avid reader, bridge player and she also loved to play bingo. She enjoyed occasional trips to casinos to play the slot machines, going on family vacations and she loved to cook.
