Anna Lee Martin, 72, of Dawsonville, died Aug. 11, 2018.
Having recently moved from Stockbridge, Anna had been a resident of the Dawsonville/Cumming area for less than a year. She graduated in 1964 from Avondale High School in Decatur, originally having been born and bred in Gadsden, Ala.
Her husband, Ronald Lee Martin; parents William and Kathryn Wall Rudd; brothers, William David Rudd, John Edward Rudd and Walter Jefferson Rudd, preceded her in death.
Survivors include her daughter Mary (Michael) Sokolowsky of Gainesville; sisters Virginia (Chris) Pratt of Petaluma, Calif., Kathleen (Bill) Peacock of Jonesboro and Venita Rudd of Cornelia; many nieces, nephews, great-nephews and a great-niece; various other relatives also survive.
The family celebrated her life by receiving friends from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Aug. 18 at McDonald and Son Funeral Home.
