Ann T. Poole, 79, of Marietta, died Jan. 4, 2017.

Mrs. Poole graduated from Dawson County High School and then moved to Marietta, where she worked and retired from Lockheed.

She was a member of the Red Hat Society in Marietta through the American Legion Post.

Her husband, Hap Poole, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her son, Alan Poole and his wife, Becky, of Marietta; brother, Emmett Talley and his wife, Freda, of Dawsonville; two grandchildren, Chris Poole and Macie Poole; various other relatives also survive.

A private family graveside was held at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens in Cumming. In lieu of flowers, contributions were requested made to Cobb Street Ministries, 1750 Powder Springs Rd., Ste. 190 PMB 378, Marietta, GA 30064.

Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home, Historic Marietta Chapel, was in charge of the arrangements.
