Allen Ray Thomas, 61, of Cumming, died Jan. 29, 2017.

He was a member of Hightower Baptist Church.

He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

His father, Gilbert Thomas; brother, Charles Thomas; sister, Gloria Thomas; and grandson, Heath Wilkie, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Ann Thomas of Cumming; mother, Hazel Thomas of Cumming; daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and Roger Smith of Cumming; brother, Larry Thomas of Gainesville; sister, Carol Thomas of Dawsonville; grandchildren, Dylan Wilkie and Jillian Edwards; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Feb. 1 at Hightower Baptist Church with the Rev. Gerral Richards officiating. Interment will follow in the Hightower Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. until the hour of service Feb. 1.

Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
