Alice F. Williamson, 60, of Dahlonega, died June 12, 2015.

Born May 28, 1955 in Gastonia, N.C., to the late Randall and Leola Mull, she had lived in Lumpkin County since 2000.

Alice was the former center coordinator for Ninth District Opportunity, which allowed her to serve many residents of Dawson County and volunteered many years with the food commodity program at the Dawson County Senior Center.

She possessed a great love and devotion for her family, especially her grandchildren, and enjoyed travel, the beach, riding motorcycles and her flower gardens.

Survivors include her husband of 38 years, Wayne Williamson of Dahlonega; children, Angela Williamson of Dawsonville, Paul Williamson of Dahlonega, Amanda Williamson of Cleveland; 10 grandchildren; sister, Vickie Pugh of Monroe; brothers and sisters-in-law, Wendell and Diane Mull of Loganville, Richard Mull and Barbara Leonard of Dawsonville; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services will be held at noon June 20 in the Bearden Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Carolyn Payne officiating. Interment will follow in Dawsonville Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 3 to 8 p.m. June 19 at the funeral home.
