Alan Carter Redd, 57, of Dawsonville, formerly of Cumming, died Aug. 6, 2015.

His infant son, Cody Redd; and parents, Carter and Nellie Redd, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his daughter, Tina Weatherly; brothers and sisters-in-law, Sammy and Billie Redd, Stanley and Cindy Redd; sister, Terri Redd Samples; nieces and nephews, Alicia Redd Simmons, Jessica Samples Smith, Carla Redd Rosson, Lauren Samples Lee, Malcolm Redd, Austin Redd, Jameson Redd; four great-nieces; two great-nephews; various other relatives also survive.

Memorial services were held at 3 p.m. Aug. 9 in the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Danny Orr officiating.

Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
