Authorities are seeking the public’s help in finding a Pickens-area motorcyclist last seen over two months ago following a wreck in western Dawson County.

The Pickens County Sheriff’s Office recently posted a missing person alert for 55-year-old Emmett Brown on the agency’s Facebook page.

Brown, who’s 5’6” and 150-160 lbs., was last seen wearing a black jacket and a blue-patterned book bag. He usually wears a baseball cap and glasses that he must wear to see, an updated missing person’s flyer showed.

Brown had a motorcycle accident along the Dawson County portion of Highway 136 on Nov. 9, 2024. He owned a red motorcycle, the PCSO post showed.

Georgia State Patrol worked the crash, Dawson County Sheriff’s Office Sgt. Matthew Blackstock confirmed.
