UPDATE: Missing Dawson County man found safe

UPDATE: Dawson County man William Koch has been found alive and is no longer considered a missing person, the Dawson County Sheriff's Office confirmed on June 8.

The Dawson County Sheriff’s Office has issued a Be on the Look Out, or BOLO, alert for a local man who has not been seen since June 4. 

According to the alert, 37-year-old William Allen Koch was last seen in Dawson County Sunday between 3-4 p.m. driving a black, 1990 model Chevrolet 3500 extended cab truck with a Georgia handicap license plate, YJM654. He could possibly be in Dawson, Forsyth or Lumpkin counties, stated a June 6 DCSO Facebook post.

Koch was last seen wearing a ball cap, black T-shirt and light-colored jeans, said DCSO Sgt. Matthew Blackstock.
