Dawson County authorities are asking for the public’s help in finding a missing local woman. 

Diaja Benson of Dawsonville has been reported missing, according to an alert shared by the Dawson County Sheriff’s Office. 

She is 5 feet, 4 inches tall and weighs 115 lbs.

Benson was reported missing after leaving her home in Dawson County on February 14, 2026. She was driving a gray 2013 Kia Forte with Georgia tag SMX0023, but she’s no longer traveling in that car at this time, the agency’s post stated.

Benson is believed to be in the company of Loron Spaulding, 38, who’s pictured on the right of the shared BOLO. 

She was reported as being seen in Atlanta on February 24.

However, she is still listed as a missing person until law enforcement can make direct contact and confirm her safety.
