Dawson County authorities on the lookout for missing teen

UPDATE: Authorities report that the teen has been located. 

Authorities in Dawson County are searching for a 15-year-old girl who went missing early on Sunday morning. 

In a Facebook post on Monday evening, the Dawson County Sheriff's Office said that Taylor Montaigne, a local teen, was last leaving a house near Toto Creek in Dawson County at 12:15 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 31. 

Montaigne is described as 5 foot 9 inches tall, weighing approximately 135  pounds, with hazel eyes and shoulder-length dyed black hair. She was last known to be wearing a black jacket with a cartoon image on it, maroon sweatpants, black and white Nike shoes, and a black Puma backpack. 

Anyone with information on Montaigne's whereabouts is asked to contact the Dawson County Sheriff's Office immediately. The sheriff's office can be reached by calling 911 or by the non-emergency number, (706) 344-3535.
