Dawsonville City Council Post 2 incumbent William Illg and Post 4 incumbent Mark Wade French both held their seats and will continue to serve on the council. 

POST 2

Incumbent William Illg: 186 Votes (54.070 percent) 

Mike Sosebee: 158 Votes (45.930 percent)

POST 4

Incumbent Mark Wade French: 185 Votes (53.623 percent) 

Jamie McCracken: 160 Votes (46.377 percent)

The total voters (345 ballots) breaks the 282 voters from the last city council election, but was still just 11.94 percent of registered voters. 162 ballots were advanced voting and 182 ballots were submitted today in-person.
