One nonprofit is bringing back GED and English as a Second Language (ESL) nights for area teens and adults ages 18 and over.

The Place is offering GED classes every Monday and Wednesday from 6-8:30 p.m. at East Forsyth High School starting Sept. 6, 2023. Beginning that same evening, ESL classes will also be offered at EFHS from 5-6 p.m.
East Forsyth High School is located at 8910 Jot Em Down Road in northern Forsyth County.
The GED and ESL classes will run on a weekly basis through May 15, 2024.


Free dinner and childcare will be available for GED class attendees only. Prospective students must attend registration night on Sept. 6, said Adult Education Coordinator Paige Ashkeboussi.
