Feeling hungry for some barbecue? If so, alumni from the Dawson County Future Farmers of America club have got you covered.
This weekend on Sunday, May 1, FFA alumni will host a chicken barbecue fundraiser to raise money for the club.
According to FFA Advisor Keith Pankey, the annual fundraiser is aimed at raising funds the Dawson County High School club will use throughout the year. The event will be held at the Juno Baptist Church pavilion, 1230 Juno Rd in Dawsonville and will offer pick-up times starting at 11 a.m.
Plates will include barbecue chicken, baked beans, applesauce, a roll and a dessert and will cost $9 each.
Those who have already purchased tickets can present them at the event. All money raised will go to support the students in the FFA program.
