DCHS FFA students compete in regional event

Last week, students from the Dawson County High School Future Farmers of America (FFA) group competed in a regional event, representing Dawson County. 

The North Regional Area 1 Environmental Natural Resources event took place on Thursday Sept. 29. According to FFA Advisor Keith Pankey, the competition included a GPC course, a team exam over the environment and a general identification section. 

The Dawson County team placed sixth out of the 14 senior teams competing at the event. The students representing Dawson County at the event were Bryce Beach, Chase Cofield, Carson Branson and Connor Mitchell.
