A local man has now been formally accused in connection with an incident last year at a Dawson County thrift store, according to an indictment filed June 9, 2025.

A Dawson County attorney filed a lawsuit Aug. 18 against Hall and Dawson counties, claiming he is owed nearly $85,000 in unpaid work for indigent clients in Juvenile Court. This comes as the Hall County Juvenile Court is undergoing an audit.
