Trey Thomas is opening a new State Farm Insurance office on the square in Dawsonville, located at 3 Highway 9 South. 

According to a release by Thomas’ office, he opened his office at the beginning of April and announced initial plans to hire four new team members for the office, including Margaret Bowen, a long time team member of former agent Roger Slaton. 

Thomas is a native of Dade City, Florida, but he has lived in North Georgia for the last 10 years. He has over eight years of insurance background including seven with State Farm, and he is licensed in property and casualty, life, and health products. According to the release, he is known for dedication to the communities he has worked in, and he served in the past as a member of the White County and Dahlonega Sunrise Rotary Clubs. 

“State Farm Agency was a natural fit for me in combining helping people with providing personalized service,” Thomas said in the release. “I’m here to help people live life confidently and look forward to serving the Dawsonville community.” 

Thomas’ office is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. or by appointment on evenings and weekends.
