Dawson County News has hired Kristina Bryant as its new multimedia sales executive.
In her new role, Bryant will be responsible for handling advertiser accounts and working with local businesses to ensure satisfaction with advertisements placed in the paper.
Most recently, Bryant worked with Olive Branch Hospice after several years of sales and management in financial and health care. Outside of work, she loves to travel, learn new things and participate in CrossFit and other extreme sports.
Bryant is a North Georgia resident and is looking forward to working with the businesses serving the Dawson County area.
“I am excited about this position and getting to know the people in the Dawson community,” Bryant said.
Bryant will be stepping into the role under the leadership of Tim Anderson, who has been named as the new Advertising Sales Manager for the Dawson County News and the Forsyth County News.
Anderson started with Metro Market Media in fall of 2020 as a multimedia account executive serving both the Dawson and Forsyth markets. He started his newspaper career in the early 1980s and has held several management positions in five different markets.
“I enjoy working with the Dawson County businesses,” Anderson said. “I look forward to working with our Dawson County team to build our presence in this community.”
Kristina will be based out of the Dawsonville office at 30 Shoal Creek Road, where she will be joined by the news side of the paper, which is led by Editor Erica Jones and staff writers Julia Fechter and Rio White.
