On March 7, the Dawson County Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting for local business Anchor Real Estate Advisors, located at 800 Old Dawson Village Suite 220. 

Anchor Real Estate Advisors is a local business aimed at helping its clients with any type of real estate transaction. The company was founded on and is dedicated to providing superior service, exceeding expectations throughout the home buying or selling process and making dreams become a reality. 

Anchor Real Estate Advisors has served buyers, sellers and investors in the North Georgia area for several years, and the company’s featured areas include Dawsonville, Alpharetta, Cumming, Buford, Dahlonega, Cleveland, Gainesville, Braselton and Roswell. According to qualifying broker Cody Chembars, seeing the business come so far since its inception has been an exciting journey. 

“Most of you don’t know that this dream started in a closet; there are very few people that know where the journey actually started,” Chembars said to those in attendance at the ribbon cutting ceremony. “And to see every one of you here — I’m honored.” 

Chembars added that he’s excited to be a part of the Dawson County community and to serve the county through his business. 

“I so enjoy being a part of this Dawsonville community, being a part of the chamber and just doing life within Dawson County and within the Dawsonville community,” Chembars said. “This is a privilege, it’s an honor and I don’t take it lightly.” 

Before cutting the ribbon for the business, Dawson County Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Mandy Power commented on the large turnout of friends, family and community members at the ribbon cutting ceremony and welcomed Chembars to both the county and the chamber. 

“We are so excited to be here to celebrate Cody and Anchor Real Estate,” Power said. “I can tell by the turnout he is loved; we’re very excited to have him here in Dawson County.”
