In recognition of Veterans Day and the local ceremonies planned to honor the men and women who served their country, the Dawson County Board of Commissioners will not meet Thursday.

The work session will be held at 4 p.m. today in the G.L. Pete Gilleland Chambers at the Dawsonville Municipal Complex.

Both city of Dawsonville and Dawson County offices will be closed on Thursday for Veterans Day.
