Those needing cash to pay taxes, tickets, fines or fees at the Dawson County Government Center no longer have to leave the premises to find an ATM machine.
Dawson County Tax Commissioner Linda Townley said an ATM was installed on the center's first floor last week.
"This is a convenience for anyone needing cash at the courthouse," she said on Friday. "We've already had people using it."
The cost per transaction is $2.50.
Townley said the government center has needed an ATM on location since its opening nearly four years ago.
"It's now available for anyone who needs to use it," she said.
County commissioners approved the agreement with Cash Transactions, LLC on Aug. 20.
