Lions Club honors four students of the month

The Dawsonville Lions Club honored four Students of the Month at the club’s last meeting for the months of November, December, January and February. 

  

The selected students were Alyssa Abe, daughter of Jacqueline and David Abe; Caleb Faille, son of Richard and Shawn Faille; Timothy Byrd, son of Janet and Tim Byrd and Allyson Orr, daughter of Shawyne and Richard Orr. 

  

All four have an impressive list of achievements, honors, awards, extracurricular and community activities. Each student was presented framed certificates and will receive a U.S. Savings Bond.

  

Abe plans to attend the University of Georgia and major in finance. 

  

Faille plans to attend Piedmont College and major in music education and minor in art.

  

Byrd hopes to seek a future in day-to-day operations in the field of engineering.

  

Orr will be attending the University of Georgia and majoring in biochemistry and molecular biology.
