It is almost time to register for kindergarten in Dawson County.

Children who turn five by Sept.. 1 and are Dawson County residents can register at Rock Creek Park from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. April 15 for the upcoming school year.

To register your child for the 2016-17, you must bring the following items: Your child, proof of residency (utility bill, tax bill, lease), GA immunization form, GA eye/ear/dental/nutrition certificate #3300, birth certificate and Social Security card.

If you are unable to provide one of the listed items, administrators ask that you still bring your child and register on April 15 and provide necessary documents to your child's school later.

If you cannot make it to the April 15 registration, notify your child's school directly for more information on how to register.
