With the current school year winding down for most, Dawson County elementary schools are already preparing for the next.

Kindergarten registration will be held from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. April 11 at the Rock Creek Park gym. Registration will be for Black's Mill, Kilough, Riverview and Robinson elementary schools.

In order to register a child for kindergarten, all of the following items must be brought to registration: Proof of residency (utility bill, lease), Georgia Immunization Form 3231, Georgia Eye, Ear and Dental Form 3300, birth certificate and the registering child's social security card. The child being registered must also be present.
