AP Scholars honored

Twelve students from Dawson County High School earned AP Scholar awards in recognition of their achievement on advanced placement exams.

 

The College Board’s Advanced Placement Program provides willing and academically prepared students the opportunity to take college-level courses while still in high school and to earn college credit, advanced placement, or both, for successful performance on the exams.

 

At Dawson County High School, Krista Morgan qualified for the distinction award by earning an average score of at least 3.5 on all AP exams.

Kourtney Ragsdale qualified for the honor award by earning an average score of at least 3.25.

 

Ten students qualified for the AP Scholar award by completing three or more AP exams with scores of 3 or higher: Jessica Abe, Robert Agan, Tameema Ahmed, Clayton Dean, Eugene Harrison, Kenneth Houseal, Naomi Kelly, Andrew King, Paeyton Mayes and Connor Tarver.
