A Dawson County man was arrested after his vehicle rolled down an embankment off Dawson Forest Road Thursday.

Sidney Robert Stewart, 56, was taken into custody April 30 and charged with DUI, driving too fast for conditions, and failure to maintain lane, according to an arrest report.

He was released May 1 from the Dawson County jail after posting a $20,388 bond.

It was unclear if Stewart had previous charges.

Stewart was heading eastbound on Dawson Forest Road driving a 2004 Kia sedan when the accident occurred, according to Dawson County Sheriffs Deputy Ethan Taffar.
