In addition to their regular postal routes and duties, the workers at the Dawsonville Post Office on May 11 collected and hauled in more than 14,000 pounds of donated foods during their annual food drive. "It's 10 percent more than we did last year," said Postmaster Andrea Phillips. All food is donated to Ric Rack in Dawsonville.
