Maggie Cordilia Abbott, age 91, of Alpharetta, passed away Friday, June 28, 2013. Maggie liked to spend her time putting puzzles together, doing word search and working crossword puzzles. She was also a great cook. Maggie is preceded in death by her husband, Eulon Abbott; sons, Baby Abbott, Kimsey Abbot and his wife Jolene; daughter and son-in-law, Evelyn and Harry Burns; five sisters and two brothers.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Betty and Harold Palmour of Canton; grandchildren, Eulon (Penny) Burns, Lisa (Larry) Holland, Chuck (Candi) Palmour, Allen Burns, James Abbott, John Palmour, Kimberly (Frank) Ross, Terri Palmour; sixteen great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; sister, Annie Mae Elrod of Dawsonville and numerous nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, June 30, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Doug Watson officiating. Interment will follow at Concord Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 4 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. until the hour of service.
