Presidential hopeful Newt Gingrich will be visiting Dawson County for a campaign luncheon on Monday, Oct. 3. Gingrich is the former speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives and a Republican candidate for the 2012 presidential race.

Fees for attending the fundraiser luncheon at the Lakeview Center in Dawsonville are: $1,000 for a private roundtable at 11:15 a.m.; or host committee luncheon for $500-plus, which includes lunch and a photograph with Gingrich. Those just attending the noon luncheon will pay $35 each.
