Cody Owen, No. 76, barrels down the field. The Dawson County Middle School Tigers were eliminated from the Mountain League Region tournament with their loss to the Fannin County Rebels, 38-16. Fannin jumped out to a big lead, 30-0, at the half. The Tiger defense settled in during the second half of the game and held the Rebels to just one score. Taylor Cronan and Cain Wells picked up the two scores for DCMS late in the game, but the comeback was too little too late. The team finished the season 2-4 overall.
