Dunkin Donuts in Dawsonville is scheduled to open Saturday, Nov. 30, according to officials with the company.

Located on Ga. 400, north of the outlet mall, the stores hours will be 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. seven days a week.

We are very excited to be opening in Dawsonville, District Manager Ashlee Harris said. Its been a long process, and this is a good location for us.

Harris said the stores design is new.

Its not the orange pilot color. Its got natural colors inside, she said.

Dawson County Commission Chair Mike Berg is looking forward to the opening.

Im a Dunkin coffee drinker, so Ill be there often, he said. I think its a great addition to the Dawson 400 corridor.

In 1950, Bill Rosenberg opened the first Dunkin Donuts shop in Quincy, Mass. At the end of 2011, there were 10,083 Dunkin Donuts stores worldwide, including 7,015 franchised restaurants in the U.S. and 3,068 shops internationally, according to the company website.
