The Dawson County High School (DCHS), Chamber Singers have had a full holiday schedule.

Most recently the group had the honor of performing at the Governors Mansion during one of its Christmas Tours last Saturday.

I was very proud of the way my students conducted themselves and represented the school and our community, said Chamber Singers director Spencer Wright.

The group also performed its holiday concert at DCHS and entertained last Friday at the City of Dawsonvilles annual tree lighting.

Im so excited about this group of kids, said Wright, their work ethic is awesome and they mesh so well it just makes the sound so much better.

The group is looking forward to an upcoming Large Group Performance Evaluation (LGPE), with a preconcert for the public. Also, plans are being made for a spring concert and maybe a trip to Savannah to sing at several churches.

Wright said, Watch for us to show up anywhere, we are currently looking for other opportunities to perform, because this is an amazing group of kids who should be heard by all.
