Brides-to-be, get ready.

The fourth annual Northeast Georgia Bridal Show is all set. This years show will be held at the Lodge at Unicoi State Park from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 10. The park is located on State Route 356 north of Helen.

The annual show features more than 60 vendors, including representatives from gift shops, florists, venues, caterers, bakeries, wedding planners and much more for couples planning that special day. This years show will feature a ven- dor who does dove releases, said Bridget Foster, show director.

The show is sponsored by and hosted by the Northeast Georgia Region of Community Newspapers Inc., which includes The Northeast Georgian. It will include the release of the 2015 Northeast Georgia Bridal magazine, to be published Jan. 10. Each attendee will be given a copy of the magazine, which is produced by the five news-

papers of the Northeast Georgia Region of CNI. It features personal wedding stories of couples in the region, expert advice and a service directory for the areas best florists, photographers, caterers and more.

A drawing will be held for a specialty bridal basket worth more than $1,000 and filled with bridal items from the vendors; door prizes also will be given away, Foster said.

Foster said she is anticipating a great show, and she expects more than 300 people will attend.

The vendors have said they keep coming back, because they can network with each other and get to know each other, she said. And theyve talked about how personal this bridal show feels compared to others.

Regional Publisher Alan NeSmith said he is pleased to welcome prospective brides and bridegrooms, as well as their families, to the show.

He said he is also excited about the show being held at Unicoi State Park for the second year.

Unicoi just had a multi-million dollar renovation, NeSmith said. This is the second year weve been at Unicoi, and were excited about being in the newly-renovated Unicoi Lodge.

Tickets may be purchased for $5 each at the door, or two tickets for $8 if purchased by 5 p.m. Jan. 9.
