A local teenager has been indicted by a Dawson County Grand Jury on charges he molested a young family member.
Michael Dwight Gilbert, 18, is charged with two counts of aggravated child molestation and two counts of child molestation resulting from incidents that occurred between May 2010 and July 2012, according to the June 27 indictment.
The prosecution could not list exact dates in the indictment "as the crime occurred repeatedly during the period of time alleged and due to the tender age of the victim."
The indictment did not include the child's age other than to say she was younger than 16.
