A 46-year-old Dawsonville woman was arrested after a recent traffic stop in north Forsyth, during which authorities found about 1,000 suspected doses of methamphetamine.

According to the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office, the incident happened about 6 p.m. April 8.

Lorrie Dianne Klein was pulled over on John Burruss Road at Shannon Drive for having a cracked windshield and for reportedly not staying in her lane, according to Deputy Epifanio Rodriguez, a spokesman for the sheriff's office.

Rodriguez said Klein has been charged with trafficking in methamphetamine and possession of methamphetamine and marijuana with intent to distribute.

In addition, she faces charges of possession of marijuana less than one ounce, possession of drug-related objects, windshield requirements and failure to maintain lane.

She is being held without bond at the Forsyth County Jail.

After a drug dog alerted positive to the area, about 98 grams of meth and 10 grams of marijuana, along with "multiple drug-related objects and $519 in U.S. currency" was found inside the vehicle, according to Rodriguez.

He said the meth was reportedly concealed in a can of peaches that she had retrofitted into a concealment container.

Klein reportedly told deputies she intended to sell the items.
