Authorities investigating a suspicious package under a vehicle in the parking lot of Walmart in Dawsonville have found no threat.

Dawson County Sheriff Billy Carlisle said agents with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation were called in to investigate the package.

"Everything is good. The GBI looked at it and determined that it was safe," he said. "The side streets have been opened back up."

The suspicious package was reported around 7 a.m.
