A Dawsonville man accused of molesting a female family member was indicted last week by a Dawson County grand jury.
Victor Charles Damiano, 45, was indicted Sept. 8 on five counts of aggravated child molestation, incest and enticing a child for indecent purposes.
“Two of the aggravated child molestation counts resulted from acts of sodomy against the victim,” said Dawson County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Lt. Tony Wooten.
The victim, a 13-year-old girl, sustained injuries during the alleged assault, which led to her treatment at a local hospital and the sheriff’s office to open an investigation.
The incident allegedly took place Aug. 1 and 2 in a travel camper belonging to Damiano, according to the indictment and arrest warrants.
The eight-count indictment also identifies Damiano as having three prior felonies between 1995 and 2007, ranging from obstruction of an officer, to aggravated assault on a peace officer and possession of cocaine.
Damiano remains in Dawson County Sheriff’s Office custody without bond.
Also indicted were:
• George Harrison Bradshaw, 23, of Dawsonville, on two counts of aggravated assault, aggravated battery and possession of a knife during the commission of a crime, resulting from a stabbing incident on June 12, 2008.
• Mickey Maynard Croy, 52, of Gainesville, on possession of methamphetamine, financial identity fraud, four counts of theft by receiving a financial transaction card, two counts possession of a drug related object (“a digital scale, for the purpose of analyzing a controlled substance” and “hypodermic needle”) and giving a false name.
The 11-count indictment also lists Croy as a repeat felony offender. He has two prior felony convictions, purchase, possession, manufacture, distribution of marijuana in 1993 and second-degree forgery in 2003, in Hall County.
His Gwinnett County felony from July 2005 lists Croy as a habitual violator.
• Nick Nathaniel Croy, 29, of Gainesville, on possession of methamphetamine, financial identity fraud, four counts of theft by receiving a financial transaction card, two counts possession of drug related objects (“a digital scale, for the purpose of analyzing a controlled substance” and “hypodermic needle”) and obstruction.
• Donald L. Holland, 31, of Dawsonville, on possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, possession of methamphetamine, possession of a drug related object (glass pipe), two counts of hunting deer at night, two counts of hunting from a public road, two counts of hunting from a motor vehicle and possession of illegally taken wildlife.
• Angela L. Martin, 35, of Cumming, on possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, possession of methamphetamine, possession of a drug related object (glass pipe), hunting deer at night, hunting from a public road, hunting from a motor vehicle and no license on person.
• Tammy Lynne Jordan, 38, of Cumming, on the offense of the sale of methamphetamine and the offense of using a communication device while committing a felony.
• Kenneth Wesley Varesi, 46, of Dawsonville, on the offense of the sale of methamphetamine and the offense of using a communication device while committing a felony.
• Paul Phillip Pettyjohn, 43, of Dahlonega, on the offense of aggravated assault on a police officer, obstruction, driving with a suspended license, failure to maintain lane, improper stopping on roadway and open container. The violations occurred on April 9, 2008, according to the indictment.
The indictment also says Pettyjohn is subject to sentencing provisions for prior felony convictions in Hall and Dawson counties. His prior felonies include a 1995 burglary and possession of methamphetamine conviction, a theft by receiving stolen property conviction in 2001 and a burglary and theft by taking conviction in February 2008.
• Ramon Silvestre Ramirez on charges of financial identity fraud, four counts of forgery in the first degree, four counts of forgery in the second degree, false statements, theft by receiving, false information to a law enforcement officer, driving without a license and a tag light violation.
• Marcus Donte Russell Minter on charges of forgery and first-degree theft by deception.
• Daniel Wayne Crabtree, 32, of Dawsonville, on three counts of family violence battery.
• Patricia Monique Dobbs, 52, of Dawsonville, on two counts of first-degree forgery, two counts of obtaining controlled substance (morphine sulphate and methadone) by forgery, possession of cocaine, possession of drug related objects (glass pipe), driving while license suspended, no insurance and unregistered vehicle.
• Russell Allen Sosebee, 19, of Maysville, on first-degree forgery, theft by taking, two counts of theft by deception and gas drive off.
• Ronald John Walburg, 43, of Dawsonville, on family violence false imprisonment and family violence simple battery.
• Kenneth Charles Whipple, 21, of Dawsonville, on the sale of methamphetamine.
• Derek Earl Willis, 28, of Dawsonville, on felony obstruction of an officer, felony obstruction of an emergency medical technician and misdemeanor obstruction.
