The weeks of rain the area has received may have made the ground mushy, but that didn't stop Friday's ceremony to celebrate the upcoming opening of the state's first Culver's restaurant. Owners Tapashvi Jaiswal and Manish Shah, along with their families and community supporters, tossed the first shovels of dirt to make way for the new eatery at 252 South 400 Center Lane, between Captain D's and Zaxby's. If the weather cooperates, the partners hope to open in about 120 days, according to Shah.
