U.S. Congressman Nathan Deal will be the guest speaker at the Aug. 13 membership luncheon of the Dawson County Chamber of Commerce.

The meeting will be held at noon at the Lakeview Center, 2057 Dawson Forest Road East in Dawsonville.

“We are honored that Congressman Deal will be the speaker at our August meeting,” said Linda Williams, chamber president.

“Our members are looking forward to this opportunity to hear firsthand from our distinguished representative in Washington.”

Chamber member Comfort Keepers will be the sponsor for the event.

Pricing is $12.50 for members who RSVP by Aug. 10 and $15 after that date.

The cost for non-members is $18 each; nonmembers  must also RSVP. Checks, cash and major credit cards are accepted.
